IVF BIG DATA PROJECT

How many normal embryos can I expect from an IVF–PGT cycle?

Based on real-world data from 5,016 IVF–PGT cycles and 27,841 embryos biopsied for PGT, we developed a predictive model to estimate expected outcomes based on maternal age.

Enter the maternal age at the time of egg retrieval to receive:

  • Estimated number of embryos available for biopsy per cycle
  • Expected number of chromosomally normal (euploid) embryos
  • Probability of having zero euploid embryos

This tool is designed to provide realistic, data-driven expectations to support clinical decision-making and patient counseling.

1. Please enter your age

2245

The data below is calculated for a woman who is 35 years old.

Distribution of PGT cases by age, %

Share of total PGT cases by maternal age at egg retrieval (model training cohort; ages 2245). Selected age is highlighted.
