Egg retrievals distribution optimizer
Stim duration is the number of days from cycle start to retrieval. Please upload historical values so the model can learn how stim length relates to when retrievals occur.
The tool produces a weekly stim-start plan: how many stim starts to schedule each day so that simulated retrievals line up with your desired weekday retrieval mix (Monday–Sunday).
Please enter your target retrievals per weekday. If your durations have heavy tails (high variability or rare very long cycles), set an outlier cutoff in days (default 25). For refinement the model Monte Carlo simulation; you can choose how many simulated weeks to run (default 5,000).
Hopefully, these calculations will help with work distribution in Operation Theaters and IVF laboratories.

Set your expected blastulation split between day 5 (D5) and day 6 (D6) after retrieval; the table below projects how many biopsies fall on each weekday.
Default split: 40% D5 / 60% D6 → 2 embryos on D5 and 3 on D6 per IVF cycle (at default 5 embryos).

Per retrieval day: total embryos = predicted TVAs × embryos per IVF cycle; D5 and D6 counts are allocated to biopsy days 40% / 60% on calendar days 5 and 6 after retrieval.
Expected lab labor (hours)
Each TVA requires 3 hours of labor on the retrieval day. Each embryo for biopsy requires 20 minutes (0.33 h) on the biopsy day.
